| Kitchens; The choices you have! There are so many different choices when it comes to kitchens. You can choose ceilings, walls, work tops, units, floors, and accessories to match. The list is endless with a massive range in colour and design. In fact, you can have many of these sections custom made to include easy close draws, appliances and even your photos as your unit door design. With a massive amount of materials to make your home your own it may be that you’re spoilt for choice. There are a number of companies that sell kitchens. Finding the kitchen you want is as much down to your finances as it is your taste and again, the range is very varied. Wood, granite, marble, ceramics, stone, glass, metal, and everything else you can think of. The wall usually has tiles placed on them or perhaps larger tile type sections that are referred to as a back splash. These are made from stone, glass, and ceramics and of course they can be made to fit and are available in many sizes, shapes, and colours. Work tops are always a larger player in what looks good as well as what’s practical. They tend to be hard wearing to allow for the chopping of food and spilling of drinks let alone the hot saucepan being placed on it in a rush. . Materials like granite and marble are always good for work tops because they can stand up to the job. You can also have wooden work top that has been specifically made to endure the kitchen antics and you may also find ceramic type tops too. The units in a kitchen are available in sizes to fit. You can get doors and draws that have easy push, non slamming features and the doors are made using wood and hard wearing plastics. The colours are endless and the patterns are a range that leaves you with too much to choose from. Last but not least is the floor. Wooden, tiled, lino, even carpet and carpet tiles are available but the most popular are the wooden floors. This is probably because although they are made from wood, they have designs that make them look like stone or different types of wood effect. Again, the design list is an endless task when it comes to choosing your style. |
